FAVORITE MCF MEMORY: I've got a couple. One of our traditions at MCF is at the end of the workout we give a two claps and a "Family" on three. Many of our athletes were competing in a 2-day comp in Knoxville and a ton of MCF people came to support (this in itself is something I love). Even though we were off site, Coach Phil kept the tradition going. He did two claps and a family before each workout that MCF members were in, and by the end of the first competition day, the entire comp caught on! It gave me a huge sense of pride to be a part of something that feels so alive + vibrant + connected. So this definitely was one of my favorite memories.
WHAT'S YOUR WHY?
WHAT IS YOUR ATHLETIC BACKGROUND? Well... i was starting point guard for my upward basketball team, so you could say I started young. I played soccer throughout middle school and then started running distance in high school.
WHAT IS YOUR DREAM WORKOUT (if you were doing a competition, what would be your favorite workout?) My dream workout is one that we did at the 2021 Battle of Mossy Creek: 10 Rounds 150 Meter run 10 t2b 1 Rope climb
WHAT CERTIFICATIONS DO YOU HAVE? I don't have any fitness certifications. But since my job here is head of communications, I do have a bachelors of art in communication.
WORKING AT MCF SINCE: Started out as a cleaner in 2018. But got bumped up in 2019 when I graduated from CNU.
FAVORITE WORKOUT GEAR: I've got these sick wrist wraps from Jamison and Lesley that are tie dye. Love those. But really, I don't do anything without my 2pood lifting belt. I love that thing and feel like it gives me powers. Well, that and chalk give me powers. Don't @ me.

FAVORITE FOOD: I really love brussel sprouts and watermelon and also salmon. Not all together. But separately.
