NEW TO CROSSFIT?

STEP 1: ON-BOARDING

If you are new to CrossFit then On-boarding is the first step in starting at the gym. This process includes a one-on-one intro session intended to bring new members up to speed on the vision, culture, and methods of CrossFit and MCF. During this session, we assess movement quality, provide insight on our nutritional strategies, teach about the MCF structure, and educate on the basic language we use in classes. The idea here is that new members would feel much more equipped and comfortable to step into our group classes after completing this intro session. 

STEP 2: MINDSET

In the month following your onboarding, you’ll receive weekly emails that have workout modifications specifically tailored for you and your needs. You’ll reference this email before every CrossFit class that week. 

In addition to weekly modification emails, your coach will also be sending you daily emails that include encouragement from coaches, as well as educational pieces to help you learn more about CrossFit and your personal health!

STEP 3: YOU'RE READY!

Once your month of on-boarding is complete you are now ready to attend group CrossFit classes with confidence. We do not have levels for classes as this training program is universally scaleable.

All MCF coaches are certified and ready to help you navigate classes each day. Don't be afraid to ask questions - they are here for you!

After joining the gym, you'll choose one of three tracks to follow depending on your personal goals!

Prepare to compete locally and world-wide. 
Get really comfortable with being really uncomfortable. 
You set your goals, our coaches make sure you’re training specifically to meet them. This means that it may be a while before you’re able to do the workouts as “prescribed.” We’re not concerned with doing the same thing as everyone else in the class, we’re concerned with helping you reach your specific goals, and to do that your training needs to be tailored to you. It’s our job to help you do that. Regardless of what track you choose, you’re going to be constantly improving which means we have to help you increase the challenge!
